Matches: PPPS USPSA matches are held the second Sunday of each month at the Pueblo West Sportsman’s Association range, starting at 10:00 a.m. We shoot six stages and typically finish between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Tables, benches and shade are available on each berm, however you need to bring your own water and/or drinks, food and sunscreen. The range has several restrooms/port-o-pots.
On Match Day:
6:30 – Set-up begins (reduced match fee for those who arrive early and help with set-up)
8:00 – Safety/New Shooter briefing
8:30 – Registration opens (Self-squading available, so don’t wait!)
9:30 – Registration closes
10:00 – Shooter’s meeting; match commences ASAP thereafter
Safety/New Shooters: PPPS uses the Pueblo West Sportsman’s Association range; an NRA-affiliated range where NRA Safety rules apply. While you do not have to be an NRA member to participate, PPPS requires new shooters to attend a briefing which covers additional USPSA match-related safety, scoring and procedural information. Offered at 8:00 a.m. each match day, please contact our safety officer so he (or she) will know to expect you. Your first PPPS match is free following your attendance of the Safety Briefing. Details here.
We also shoot a Steel Challenge match on Wednesday evenings during the summer. Please check our calendar for dates, times and results.
